  • Lead Wedding Planner during 2017 wedding season - ranging from day of coordination, to month out to full service clients
  • Expertly and seamlessly planned wedding events, with budgets of up to $40k+, for up to 300 guests
  • Established budgets, reviewed locations and chose venues for wedding clients

  • Assisted Expert Planners for higher tiered, full service client weddings, ensuring extra assistance was given on day of weddings
  • Used internal planning and budget tools to organize wedding events and prioritize tasks
  • Supervised and setup styled photo shoot. Used images from shoot for website content, social content and company press releases
  • Events; executing social media content and overall event promotion, setup and tear down - college football Saturdays and NFL Sunday's, UFC, Young Professional Happy Hours, birthday parties, charity events
  • Opening of Restaurant: brand push for soft opening and work through kinks before grand opening - including on-boarding of open table system
  • Worked FOH and BOH shifts during events to ensure setup success and customer happiness
  • Continuously worked with beer / wine / liquor directors to ensure menu was robust and developed for events
  • Served as Social Event Chair - working on vendor relations, social engagement and day-of event coordination

  • Compiled auction items for the silent auction which for the MWOY Grand Finale Event. Ashton formed partnerships with: The Hyatt Regency of San Francisco, Crunch Fitness, Dosa Restaurant, San Francisco Giants, Mercer Street Salon, Lazy Bear Restaurant, Cloverleaf Ranch, Soul Cycle, Tiburon Tavern,  Vineyard Vines, Oakland Raiders, Pure Barre, and the Brickyard SF
  • Gained sponsorships from The Goldman Sachs Group, Vineyard Vines and The Boone & Elam Corporation
  • Created and executed SquareSpace website ( and social media presence across Twitter, Facebook and Instagram - creating enticing and memorable hashtags
  • Set up Hootsuite, Pipedrive, Paperless Post, Asana, Boomerang, YesWare and Sidekick CRM tools + Survey Monkey content to execute simple push campaigns & gather analysis
  • MWOY Kick-Off Chateau Evening” - executed gathering of guests and push through Social Media outlets, to entice guests to join at the event
  • Strike Out Cancer” - constructed & executed venue, setup and promotions for event; also created Pinterest board to entice guests while raising $750
  • Shop For A Cause” - created and executed event which raised $400 through Vineyard Vines store in Tiburon
  • MWOY Grand Finale Gala” - created Social Media content, established 11 silent + live auction items, to auction off at Grand Finale Gala, which raised collectively $11k+
  • Social Media & Event chair for Golden Gate Ties; executing social media content, PR and overall event promotion
  • Partnered with The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society to recruit 12 young adult professionals board members across the San Francisco Bay Area

  • Researched and established venue, date, time, cost of entry and prizes across “Boozy Bee” event to fundraise towards the $25k annual goal
  • Conducted brainstorming sessions with sales and sales planning teams, identifying key clients to target for events
  • “Soul Cycle” client event in the SF Marina district - rent out studio, crafted speciality water bottles and towels for swag; obtained three levels of prizes for random drawing for cycle attendees/clients
  • “AQ Sneaky” client dinner - established AQ venue, constructed AQ menu, created swag bags for each client, and rented out VIP area for Sneaky Sound System show, post dinner
  • Created POD monthly off-sites/events - including point of contact, cost, date, time and transportation for events.  ie. Hogs Island with Client Services, SF Bowling with Sales Planning team, Bocce Ball in North Beach with Campaign Management, Cooking Class with Accounting
  • Survey Monkey for client feedback and internal POD feedback for marketing materials across Sales team
  • Attended local Bay Area conferences and reported back findings and key speakers, as well as promoting future conferences and events to increase QC attendance and awareness within RTB ecosystem

  • Goal to raise 1 million dollars for LLS throughout the month of February ’15

  • Worked together with SF Regency Hyatt to create “Cocktails For A Cure
  • Guest speaker during weekly Hyatt HH; handing out brochures, answering questions and educating guests on where proceeds go, while enticing them to become volunteers for LLS
  • Established Young Adult Survivors Group (YASG) within Gilda’s Club of Kansas City
  • Created and executed ‘KC Sporting Event’ raising funds and awareness for the YASG and promote via PR to gain more members
  • Established venue, t-shirt vendor and prizes for tailgating games
  • Wrote and created YASG flyers and social media content

  • Up till Dawn - worked as a team member on the Up till Dawn team, helping raise funds and awareness for St. Jude’s Hospital, then landed a team leader role in my Senior year, facilitating PR for events, creating themes and creative ways to fundraise and let our team stand our amongst the crowd!
